Enroll in student-led, weekly workshops to learn new skills and discover opportunities. Receive a signed certificate upon completion. The workshops offered are Arduino, graphic design, web development, photography & video production, and public speaking. All workshops will be held on campus.
Students will learn the essentials of graphic design. This workshop equips students with the knowledge and tools to make aesthetic designs for posters, stickers, logos, and more.
Students will be learning the fundamentals of C++ and using an Arduino with an IDE. Students will experiment with different sensors and circuits through various projects.
Photography & Video Production | 4 weeks | 4/9-4/30 | Tuesdays @ 3:40 - 5 PM
Students will learn the fundaments of using a camera, as well as editing techniques using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Students will also cover the basics of video production.
Students will learn to confidently communicate with their audience. Students will also develop leadership skills and practice project organization.
Web Development ***RESCHEDULED*** | 1 week | 3/25-3/28| Tuesdays @ 3:40 - 4:30 PM
The Web Development Workshop will expose students to the basic of web development and web design. Students will learn the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. By the end of the workshop, students will have developed the skills necessary to create a basic functioning website.
