Enroll in student-led, weekly workshops to learn new skills and discover opportunities. Receive a signed certificate upon completion. The workshops offered are Arduino, graphic design, and web development. All workshops will be held on campus.
The Graphic Design Workshop will introduce students to the vector graphic design program, Corel Vector. Students will learn the basics of graphic design, build foundational skills, and apply what they learn to real world situations. Weekly assignments will immerse students in a graphic design setting and have them gain experience with receiving and resolving feedback.
Web Development | 4 weeks | 5/9-5/30| Tuesdays @ 3:35 - 4:30 PM
The Web Development Workshop will expose students to the basic of web development and web design. Students will learn the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. By the end of the workshop, students will have developed the skills necessary to create a basic functioning website.
