X-Carve

You will need to be trained in person before using the machine.

What is the X-Carve?
The X-Carve is a CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine made by Inventables. CNC means it’s controlled by a computer to cut, carve, or engrave materials with extreme precision.

With the X-Carve, you can design something on the computer—like a sign, a piece of furniture, or even detailed artwork—and the machine will carve it out of materials such as wood, plastic, or soft metals.

Key Features:

  • Precision: Cuts designs exactly as they appear in the software.

  • Versatility: Works on different materials.

  • Creativity: Great for custom signs, prototypes, furniture parts, and more.

  • Hands-on Learning: Students get to see how digital designs become real, physical objects.

In short, the X-Carve is like a robot woodshop tool that turns your digital ideas into real projects.
